Bio: Kylei Potter is a senior at Texas A&M University pursuing a degree in Philosophy with a pre-law focus. Her academic interests center around the intersection of ethics, technology, and society, with a particular interest in how philosophical inquiry can help address complex issues in the modern world. After completing her undergraduate studies, Kylei plans to attend law school and pursue a career as an attorney.
Kylei's undergraduate research focuses on epistemic injustice, artificial intelligence, and the public sphere, specifically examining how algorithms and digital platforms influence whose knowledge is trusted and represented in society. Through her work, she explores how emerging technologies shape democratic discourse and impact individuals' ability to participate meaningfully in public conversations. Her research has allowed her to engage with questions surrounding technology, ethics, justice, and the future of communication in an increasingly digital world.
Through undergraduate research, Kylei has developed strong analytical skills and a deeper appreciation for the value of curiosity and inquiry.
