- Any undergraduate student conducting research from any academic discipline under the guidance of a Texas A&M faculty member.
- Any Texas A&M undergraduate from any academic discipline who participated in research at another institution under faculty guidance.
- Any high school junior or senior in the B/CS area who participated in research under the faculty guidance of a Texas A&M faculty member.
- Yes, team presentations are allowed. Up to 5 team members may present as a group. Each team member must register individually with the same team name and project information.
- Abstracts should be no more than 250 words (1,000-1,500 characters)
- Abstracts will appear in a publicly available abstract book.
- Abstracts should be written for a broad audience.
- NOTE: Plain text abstract submissions are required. We cannot guarantee that special formatting, symbols and images used in word processing programs will appear as intended. Please spell out or use alternative plain text symbols when you submit your abstract. Remember that your abstract will be made available to the public.
Size and layout
- Maximum poster size is 48” wide x 48” tall
- Posters should not be mounted on poster board or foam core.
- Consider laminating your poster. It costs a little extra, but is worth the cost if you intend to display your poster multiple times.
- Minimum recommended body text size is 24 pt., 36 pt. for headings.
- You should be able to read your poster from 5’ away.
