Bio: Howdy! My name is Ariana Meshinchi, and I am a sophomore Biology major from Frisco, Texas. My goal is to attend medical school after graduation while also continuing research. I am excited to share my research experiences and to answer any questions you guys may have, so do not hesitate to contact me!
I joined the Bell-Pedersen lab in the fall of my sophomore year and began researching the effects of various clock-modulating compounds on cellular longevity in N. crassa. Throughout this research project, I have not only learned numerous hands-on laboratory skills but also developed skills that I plan to carry into my professional career. If you think research could interest you, I encourage you to learn more about how to get involved!
