Bio: My name is Neha Lakka and I’m a Biomedical Sciences junior on the pre-med track, planning to become a physician specializing in oncology. My specific research interest areas are cancer immunotherapies, gene expression in the tumor microenvironment, and engineering protein therapies for diseases. I have experience in cancer research through my summer internship at Houston Methodist, and I’m involved in cancer research in Dr. Sato’s lab and protein engineering research in Dr. Chen’s lab.
