Bio: Howdy! My name is Arjun Kumar, and I am a Biomedical Engineering major on the pre-med track with the goal of attending medical school to become a surgeon. For the past two years, I have conducted research in the Equine Infectious Diseases Lab, where I have focused on understanding the infection profile of Rhodococcus equi in foals. Through this experience, I have developed both fundamental and technical research skills, which have strengthened my interest in scientific discovery and translational medicine.
