Bio: I am a freshman at Texas A&M University majoring in Nutrition.

I have prior research experience across both laboratory and literature-based projects. At Texas A&M, I conduct research in the Gomer Lab, where I analyze gene sequences and protein structures in Dictyostelium discoideum to better understand cell signaling and communication. I have also contributed to mitochondrial research in the Gohil Lab and am currently studying metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease and hepatic inflammation through literature analysis in the Wu Lab. Previously, I worked at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in the Giorgio Lab, where I helped develop a thermosensitive drug delivery system aimed at improving preterm birth outcomes.

My academic interests focus on clinical epidemiology, maternal and fetal health, liver metabolism, and the role of nutrition in disease progression. My long-term goal is to pursue an MD-PhD so that I can combine scientific research and healthcare.

Through my academic and service experiences, I am committed to using research as a tool to improve health outcomes in underserved and rural communities.
