As a University Undergraduate Research Fellow, you will participate in two semesters of research during your senior year that culminate in a senior honors thesis and a symposium presentation.
The Office of Honors Programs and Academic Scholarships, through a grant from the Association of Former Students, invites undergraduate students in any department or major at Texas A&M University to apply for mini-grants to help defray costs associated with research-related travel and participation in conferences.
This course capitalizes on the celebration of the International Polar Year 2007-2008 that will begin in March 1, 2007 and continue for two years to educate undergraduate and graduate students about current “cutting-edge” polar science and research. The International Polar Year (IPY) 2007-2008 is an unprecedented world-wide focus on science, research, technology and issues in the polar regions of our planet. See attached file.
